Interesting to see … I’m curious, how would you say they compare with airplanes? To me the artifacts look larger compared to ground — are they more or less frequent?

Yep they should be larger due to be closer to the imaging satellite. This is the second time I've noticed a satellite in such images while just working away. I only tend to see planes near major airports, but of course I may just miss spotting some.
