💥🚀 New footage released by local residents shows strike by eight Ukrainian Storm Shadow cruise missiles during the October 25 attack on Russia’s Energia plant in Yelets. Missiles slam into the same factory with no visible air defense response. Witnesses claim eight missiles struck the facility.

Eight missiles into one plant with no visible intercepts says more about Russian air defense density than about the missile count. The stockpile question matters, but Moscow's advertised shield versus its actual capability is the real headline here.

Dont underestimate them. Russian air defence os quite competent, but they can’t be everywhere at once. The Ukrainians would have destroyed the entire oil refining industry if the Russians’ air defences were nothing but a joke.

There was at one point (last year from memory) talk on Russian channels about missile shortages for Buk and Pantsir. They expanded production, and it left the news. Now with increased attacks by Ukraine they might run into shortages again.

What a shithole. It’s good to hear the call of the Blyatbirds during the day. 🐦 🦆. It used to be that we’d only hear the Russian Nightingales, sounding like car alarms, barking dogs and lawnmower engines, but the daytime Blyatbirds are becoming more common recently.

According to google we can produce 20 missiles a month so hopefully they have been given quite a few. Let's hope google is working on pre war estimates and the UK has significantly increased this output number somewhat.

What little air defense they have left has been moved to Moscow. They're terrified Ukraine will do to Moscow what they've been doing to Kiev.

No interceptor footage is the part worth pausing on. Energia builds components for Kh-59 and Kh-101, so eight hits on one plant is eight passes at the supply chain behind the missiles hitting Ukrainian cities. Stockpile depth is the open question now.

What a shithole… If they spent their oil money on their country instead of waging wars everywhere and filling the pockets of Putin and his friends, imagine they could be like Norway…
