Corallary: I know I have already lost this battle, but I wish audio podcasts were not forced onto YouTube. I mean, you can listen in a browser and download for any damn audio player, did we need the YouTube version? Was anyone really prevented from listening?

I know this is a losing battle but I am BEGGING people to stop calling video series "podcasts." You are not making a podcast. You're making a video series, which you film and want people to WATCH not just listen to.
