Is there going to be a bug fix for friend requests and uploading avatars? I feel like we can't really do servers if we can't even friend people on there. The banner works fine, but I can't seem to update my avatar/logo for some reason. Hopefully those issues can be resolved soon 🤞

Yes that's absolutelt what's causing the problems. They were also already in the middle of changing their stuff so they got double caught fof guard by migration. Some aren't getting verification e mail, but I got one but clicking it leads to 'server host page can't be found' or soemthing similar

Android app just says reconnecting and won't connect. Tried the clerotri client and the API server address is outdated and so it just loops back to the login screen.

Trying to sign up and I get “Something went wrong! Try again later.” Guessing I should try again tomorrow?

There's one HUGE aggravation that's seriously pissing me off... I wanna log into the app (cuz I'm only logged into the browser version), but every time I'm inputting my password, I KEEP getting the goddamn "LockedOut" message, and I'm sick and tired of it...

The only thing I wish for is the ability to stream video so i can do virtual game nights again & the ability to pay for higher file size limits. The default max is 20 mb and that's really restrictive.

I had the same issue. I tried it with the android app. It seems to have better error messages. In my case it was an issue with my password. It was compromised and I had to choose a different one

Every attempt to register I've made over the past few days has given the error "something went wrong" or "failed to fetch". :(

Any idea why it will only work on wifi and not mobile data? Leaves me unable to use it at all half the week. Hoping this is fixable. Also are there plans to have a notification alert as well? I have them enabled and not getting any sound.

I was able to finally get a verification email by whitelisting the stoat.chat domain in my email account settings

Hi! We're trying to register an account but upon pressing "Register" we get this notice "hCaptcha not loaded!" Tried turning off all our tracker protections and even adblockers, but this seems to persist.

they are partially blacklisted by mail providers because of the massive, unusual uptick in mail volume... They fell victim to their unexpected success 🙃 it's an automated thing and is pretty common when a normally quiet service starts blasting emails. Give it some time and it'll get sorted out.

Hey stoat team! Was wondering if you had any guidance on androids not being able to connect. The app hangs at the login screen, and I can't connect through chrome either. FAQ #7 says its likely a whitelisting issue or similar thing. Any guidance on where to look to bypass these hurdles?
