The new scene uses the same isometric sprites as the overworld ones, and I'm still missing proper animations for attack, ability, spell, damage, etc. But I like this perspective way more. I'm SUPER happy with the twisting motion, this one was quite hard to do...

I wanted to use the same "blocks" and in the overworld map, but I ended up using only the diamonds as it was the only solution for a smooth and good looking swivel motion. But I think the end result is very good.

The idea here is to have this large diamond as the battlefield and then draw multiple background and foreground pieces that will populate the rest of the scene and make each environment: forest, ruins, city, cavern, dungeon, etc.
