Nonsensical policy is unsurprising but nonsensical. They know they're not going to be in government, so their policies don't have to be realistic, but they should at least make sense and be internally consistent.

"We're going to cut tax and increase public spending and we're going to pay for it by increasing tax in gas exports, which we are also going to phase out". Just utter nonsense that belongs on the side of a bus.
