Went into Exeter town center for the first time in actual years to pick up a new Macbook and some US currency. Had to use Google Maps to find the Post Office. The big main one is gone. Turns out its now a booth in the back of a branch of soon-to-be-closed TG Jones.

That TG Jones used to be the "big Smiths" where everyone would get everything. Amstrad and Amiga games, music, magazines...I was in there every week. It used to be packed out. 30 minute checkout queue at Christmas, if you were lucky. I was the only person in there today. Sad times.

The smiths in my home town closed over ten years ago. Initially was sad as remembered buying loads from them, stationery for school, games, books, magazines, CDs etc. Then realised been years since bought anything from them.
