I am once again asking indie authors NOT to use ChatGPT to write your review query emails. I do not need to read an LLM’s attempt to compare one of my reviews to your book. Just tell me about your book! (I will probably still say no because I am busy as all get-out.)

Tapping the sign on this because it KEEPS HAPPENING. I've received two more this week. They always start with something like "I've read your review of X and Y, and the way you appreciate [generic motif] made me think my book would be relevant." STOP IT.

Feel like I need to tap this sign like once a week now. What are we doing? You don't need to impress me. You don't have to sell me. Just tell me what the book is about. Link me to a page on your website. Using AI is, in addition to unethical, just a total waste is time.
