There’s a simple fix for this - liability for software platforms and products. If your product creates problems, you pay for it. If it creates really bad problems, you go to jail. That’s how it works for everyone else in this country.

to work anymore. And the numbers that they tossed out were huge: Sam Altman told the NYT that he was looking for $70 trillion to manufacture AI chips. That is roughly twice the size of the entire US economy. Then came the public fightback over the horrifically environmentally destructive data
