It's a weak argument, especially if your "instead of" manifesto becomes "as well as" ...

The whole article is why "as well as" isnt an option. For reference see the past 10 years of Brexit instability. If you think we can easily return, and execute it, then fine. But thats not reality.

Not saying it will be easy! Your main argument is "don't try it as it will be hard ". It will be hard, and incremental, and protracted but that's not a reason to abandon the aim!
