I only met Aaron once, when Sergey Brin was showing him around GOOGLE around 2001. I was surprised Sergey was taking such an interest in a guy who looked like he was 13. After I wrote about my time there, Aaron was kind enough to write a positive review of my book. His story is truly tragic.

I met Aaron when I was developing at Internet Archive their Books digitization project. He was a genius who was able to connect on such extraordinary levels of kindness. I miss him.
