It's all part of the Project 2025 plan of chaos and cruelty. The MAGA backers *want* this shutdown. They want to fire thousands of dedicated federal government employees -- only to replace them with prescreened MAGA loyalists (regardless of their competence). It is NOT a "Schumer shutdown."
