Trump presumes that Republicans will vote Republican. When I go to the store the cashier doesn’t ask me my political party affiliation and I get a discount from the Trump tariffs because I say I’m a Republican. We’re all suffering from Trump’s actions.

“Trump first took office in January 2017, there have been two midterms, five off-year elections, and numerous special elections, and he’s never really gone to the mat for anyone but himself.” This is key and Republicans in Congress know it. Whatever he did to win/cheat in 24 isn’t available to them.

This is how he tries to get what he wants. He posts “I don’t need Congress change elections” The media goes crazy and eventually some moron decides to write an op-Ed about how mayyyyyyybe if you look at the law this way it might work. Then Trump pounces on this article as proof. Don’t fall for it.

C’mon. At least be serious. Gerrymandering *is* one of the mechanisms used by early stage authoritarian regimes. Ask any Hungarian in the opposition. Then there’s voter suppression, intimidation, propaganda, extortion, and SCOTUS (e.g., Citizens United, Bush v. Gore)… but you all know that.

He absolutely will try, and not just at voting locations. He's likely to selectively interfere with voting locations, get republicans in congress and in state legislatures to declare irregularities and issue challenges, potentially seize ballots, etc. A barrage of bullshit. Let's stop him.

Voting down the Save Act should be number one of the things Democrats need to do. Working with the state governments to ensure that the DHS doesn't interfere with voting sites.
