Talarico: “[My] comment about God not being defined by gender...I was being provocative...But I think what I was saying is actually not controversial theologically...the late Charlie Kirk said that, the late Pope Benedict said that. And so, yes, I was doing it maybe in an annoying way. I can admit."

Um, historically the god of the Bible was male and had a wife (Ashera). Ancient drawings exist of them where he has his penis out. But they had long lost their gender and polytheism had mostly been redacted out by the time of second temple Judaism and early Christianity So they/he is gender fluid?

By the time the Bible was actually written, Yahweh had become the one and only Big Kahuna. It was very important to the highly misogynistic nomadic herdsmen who invented the myths that their deity was a fella. They also saw women as property, so consider the source of this concept.

She still ain't voting for you. She's much more interested in performative Xtianity. G*d is beyond time, you can absolutely use modern language to spread gospel, or Scripture would have never be translated. What would be the point of sermons, if not to explain G*d's will IN modern vernacular? 🙄

Haaaa MAGA “Christians” are ALWAYS using modern cultural terms and imposing gender on their angry daddy god. MAGA limits god the most and blasphemes constantly, invoking god to wage petty grievances, feed their neuroses and spread hate.
