Thou shalt NOT mock the sailors you’ve had on deployment for over 200 consecutive days without a break and say its “not enough” when you dodged the draft six times and called STDs your personal Vietnam and you spend all day drawing ballrooms and posting AI slop.

Old AF medic/recruiter here. Do NOT enlist in the Navy, Marines, Army, not even AF. Space Force, sure, Coast Guard, sure .... even then, NOT until we get rid of Trump and the Republican party; do not enlist in any branch. Why is Sec/Nav a Captain and not an Admiral? He should be fired.

I don’t like anything about Trump or his war vs. Iran, but life aboard the USS Lincoln isn’t nearly as uncomfortable as being blown apart by US missiles, Israeli planes or Iranian drones (or for that matter, being bombed in Lebanon or Gaza). War-ravaged civilians would give anything to trade places!

I think what trump was trying to get across to the reporter was that he doesn't care about the sailors, but he will make the sailors suffer for not being quiet about the neglect and abuse that is being heaped on them. He may move them from there, but I bet he doesn't let them go home.

#OrangePlague should be confined to the WH for an equal number of days as the USS Lincoln sailors, with the same food, medical and hygiene provisions- no golf, no family visits, no ‘rallies’, nothing but 24/7 work…I dare him…

I'm not comparing this to Navy deployments. But during GWOT, my unit was extended 3 months (made it a 15 monther). Those extra 3 mo. took a toll. I'm a grunt. I don't even want to think about naval deployments. I'd lose my mind. My heart goes out to my squidly siblings. It's wrong. Logistics?

I was on two deployments to the Med and a few in the Caribbean. It's not as fun as you might think so please hold the jokes. Decent food Decent sleep Manageable work rotation Unreps Port calls Mail from home A pat on the back It's really not that difficult, is it?

I was tough enough for the Army, or crazy enough for the Marines, or smart enough to join the Air Force so the Navy was the sweet spot. Life underway, kinda like prison without the opportunity for parole.

The VA tells me I should have never passed my entrance physical. Congenital Sciatica from being born with the sciatic nerve between vertebrae. Easily seen on any back Xray, which they do in a pre-service physical. The Doctor just passed me along. Your boy got lucky with a good doctor.

I sure hope those republican voting military folk remember this come election time. Somehow I’m sure they’ll still blame Biden or Obama.

This man who spends most of his waking minutes demeaning women and calling those he dislikes out of their name, stands there looking like this. I wouldn't care if he looked like this and were a nice man, but he looks like this and he's a mean-spirited gargoyle who's destroying America. Ewww!

Please stop calling him "The leader of the free world", he isn't. As a matter of record, I, as a Canadian, have more freedom (& healthcare) & we never had any vote in his election. He's the leader of the USA & NOWHERE else. Sorry eh, but, facts.

Our heroic Navy deserve better than the FUCKING DISGRACEFUL CONDITIONS they are being subjected to on our ships. WHY THE FUCK ARENT THE REPUBLICANS LOOKING INTO THAT? Maybe take your heads out of Donny Boys ass long enough to help out those who actually work for a living? AND FUCK THAT BALLROOM!

Our military is in a pecarious position; over deployment, logistical failures, procurement process ruined, the dropping of 556, and now transition the carriers back to steam. I don’t think our military has been this weak since pre-WW2

Time to send Donald and Pete on a cruise. Lunch is on the American taxpayer. I’m sick of Trump dismissing the real problems of American citizens over and over. He is shameless. He’s a fat, delusional con man that thinks everything can be bought and sold. Integrity can’t and Trump doesn’t have it.

Ive seen a lot of people on the left mocking them too. I guess most folks dont understand that the vast majority of people joining the military do it for free education, housing, steady paycheck.. free healthcare.

I feel like draft dodging should be an immediate disqualification for presidency. If you can't bring yourself to fight in a war, you shouldn't be in control of what leads to war. I don't even have an issue with draft dodgers inherently, but you shouldn't be able to decide who dies when you couldn't
