It is a slippery slope always when you compromise your core and basic values. Judges, leaders must be held to strict ethics. Democracy is for people not for corporations. These are fundamentals that were violated. As you see, it doesn’t take much to destroy a democracy.

Sarah Kendzior's *Cosa Nostradamus* reminds me why I've followed her work for so long. Reading her prose evokes memories of experiencing watercolors. Scholarship, grief, indignation, and irreverent humor flow together without losing their individual character. And “Midol Metal”? 😂 Brilliant..

Apparently, some Houston voters are putting their I Voted stickers on the Lorenzo Salgado Araujo memorial. Stephen Miller is ALREADY trying to scapegoat others for losing whatever races they lose in Texas and elsewhere. This is a vivid testament that for some voters, his murder squad is the reason.

James in the tank with billionaires. Citizens United killed our ability to modify our government via spoken word. A perversion sought by fascists. James, fascists steal all the covers, get out of their beds. It’s 1A. Words and votes are foundational, money is not speech in a democracy.

I think Speaker Jeffries should create a special committee of one (given that Moskowitz looks like he'll hold onto his seat, I nominate him and his blue suit) to pursue Trump challenges that assume Trump's claims are true. If changing your name makes you illegal then JD must be removed!!

1/5 Where best to start? There are many in the architecture of this oligarchic movement begun a century ago. Industrial extraction began by slaughtering the buffalo. The “Gilded Age” was dressed in gold to cover corruption underneath. This is organized extraction. Beware unintended consequences.
