There are many of us who recognise the BBC is irreplaceable, but cannot understand why the people politically placed in the organisation by the last Government are still there and are damaging the BBC’s credibility for impartial News journalism.

I shall; Industry, Amandaland, Radio4, Victoria Derbyshire, Panaroma, Railway journeys, CBBC -Newsround, BluePeter esp before the cutbacks), sadly the government taxed our household so hard we've had to cutback. So only listen to the free Radio now.

I was a massive fan of the BBC until 2016. Lord Halls disgusting instructions to BBC journalists in 2017 to treat Brexit as ' a done deal' when it was nothing of the sort, ended that. Frankly BBC News UK has only got worse since. Even the World Service is being ruined by the likes of Justin Webb.

The public would undoubtedly support Pilger's view of journalism as 'speaking to power.' The Beeb once conformed to this criterion, but now radio retains elements of this perspective, while TV has abandoned it completely. Trivia & dross dominate social media & the consequences are dire as we see.

f only #BBC could develop a secure firewall where you had to submit proof of your TV licence to watch World Cup games, I suspect the number of license players would sharply increase.

579...It would be a lot easier to speak up for the BBC if: - They called the genocide in Palestine a genocide - Did a Panorama investigation into ombudsinjustice at Ombudsman Services at the time of CEO The Rev Lewis Shand Smith, instead of one mis-quoting Donald Trump.

The problem you have here is that there is no genocide. All the evidence indicates that Israel went to great lengths to avoid unnecessary harm to civilians. While it may seem difficult for you to believe, Israel has the right to exist and to defend itself. Are you aware of the US response to 9/11?

Any reasonable analysis needs to separate current affairs, news and politics and political programming from everything else. Otherwise yeah- R4 comedy is great hides the fact the Today programme is a lost cause
