RFK: "There's five hundred million Arabs in the world. And yet they don't produce science. They don't win the Nobel Prize. They don't win the Fields Prize. They don't win the Wolf Prize. They don't produce literature."

I live in a rural town and, like, I don't know how to tell you this, but the girls play on the boys team and vice versa all the time because otherwise we don't have enough players for a game and it's literally always fine so stop being weirdos about kids sports and just let trans kids play.

i am on a plane sitting next to a lady who looks 40ish and has informed me that this is her first time flying she is visibly excited. she asked the flight attendant how much a soda costs and was happy to learn that drinks are free on airplanes. she's taking lots of pictures. i love this for her

Faults in golf swing mechanics are almost always:- - loss of posture during backswing - unwanted compensation during downswing - bad thing at impact And for bonus points - bad setup is game over before you start

Even at peak development effort between 2011-2016 we were generating about 650 lines of code a week on GoldenCheetah. The average week's output for PPS with Claude is 27k. That's roughly a 40x uplift - 40 people at full pelt instead of 1 or 2.

Those Argos ads are a bit weird but probably work at reminding you they exist— I would have gone hard on not giving your money to a billionaire but an ethical company. Maybe have a tagline: Buy it now

Listening to The Bends. Haven't listened to it in absolutely years (I can't actually remember when I last did). Aside from being so fucking 1990s its .. alright.

This a million times. People of colour being dragged on to debate maniacs about imaginary labels & race science is an abomination. proper ‘how German are you’ Nazi shit Note that people like me with white migrant parentage never asked to defend our identity Englishness. Is. A. Made. Up. Thing

Sathnam Sanghera@sathnam.bsky.social

Dear tv and radio producers. Thankyou for the invitation. But, no, I do not want to appear on your show to defend the idea that I am English, after 50 years of living and working here, because the increasingly feral right want to turn this into a "debate" and you cannot see how you're being played

Oh man- my fantasy team is the killing machine. I didn't draft Josh Allen, ok. But Joe Burrow please be careful now. Every year I look great for 4 weeks then everyone gets injured.

So naturally I'm adding a summary function using PCA to my golf app to prove me right (wrong) PS: It is utterly brutal to have a machine review your swing and tell you *every single time* that you made the same fault.

The daily sea surface temperature is now so high, they had to add more chart because the previous version only went up to 30C

They listened to me. There is now more chart.

Cannot get over the beauty of this GIF: it’s Zidane celebrating last night after Olise scored a last minute winner for France. It looks like something from a movie or a high-end fashion advert. Probably the most elegant footballer of all time.
