The conference, #Disinfo2026, taking place Wednesday and Thursday, is the annual meetup of Europe’s counter-disinformation community and has drawn hundreds of researchers, journalists, technologists and policymakers to a hotel in Vilnius, Lithuania. Pitiful. EU once again acting like vassals of the US empire instead of a union of sovereign nations. We cannot hope to be independent or stand for anything until we break free of this subservience to Washington.

It is a FACT that the US is a disinformation actor - we need only look at Musk, Zuckerberg et al - and the Trump regime is actively hostile to European interests and values.

If your country allows themselves to be bullied by this president, I really hope you vote these leaders out of office. I'm voting against the entire GOP in this country for the rest of my life. No more authoritarians in government. PEOPLE > money, profits, business, everything.
