More privatisation failure. Why are we paying to "turn off" renewable power generators? Why are infrastructure upgrades delayed? Why don't we have grid storage solutions to buffer generation/use variations? Because short term investor dividends are prioritised over actually generating electricity.

No it is not. The real reason is the price cap which guarantees the income of the most expensive generators - which are not wind farms! Public ownership is the actual answer - see prices in mainland Europe by comparison.
