My lady and I went to see this over the weekend. It was great, very tense. De-emphasizing the comic book angle in both marketing and the movie itself was quite smart. I don't think either of us would have been interested in "batman villain origin movie" but I love body horror.

The marketing has been pretty good. Leaning hard into the horror side of body horror and away from the comic book association that's really not helping much these days.
