We have pretty good schools here, and it was a cheap place to buy a house in the 2000s. But we're looking at moving once our youngest finishes high school. It's grown in the worst possible way (sprawl rather than smart growth), and while they are outnumbered here, the MAGA vibe is very obnoxious.

I should add it's no longer cheap to buy or live here. A decent house is now >$800,000, and there have million-dollar houses up the street from our neighborhood, which we bought into at less than $180,000 in 2003.
