This is NGC 7129, a star-forming region about 3,300 lightyears away. Hot, atomic hydrogen glows with a golden hue; cooler, molecular hydrogen shows as red. There, gas outflows from protostars form complex clumpy structures. The scene is 5.8 arcminutes across. Celestial North is to the bottom right.
