Raised by Wolves, Scavengers Reign, Avenue 5, even the end of Westworld: HBO launched some great sci-fi series, only to leave them by the wayside. Let them finish stories! (Like AppleTV... for now)

I just want most shows to be shorter to be honest. American studios always flog something to death then abandon it, once every possible $ has been extracted. Stuff like Scavengers Reign, Squid Game are great where the story is finished but the door is kinda left open. Best of all is Andor.

I will tell a complete story, with a fixed endpoint in the writer's head from the outset, then get there. Silo is good it feels like that because it's following books it has somewhere to go. I haven't read the books but you can feel it shaping the story.
