"An artificial intelligence-generated episode of Doctor Who was โ€œpretty good,โ€ according to BBC Director General Matt Brittin." What a desirable future that is. Soon there will be shows created entirely by machines for machines, which will generate tons of content!! Hallelujah.

Imagine all of the totally-not-hallucinated, definitely-consistent-from scene-to-scene, most-certainly-not-a-hodgepodge-of-components-of-existing-ships spaceships your AI replacement will be able to write about!

Any Creative pushing and praising AI needs to just get in the fucking sea. Seeing that clip of Danny Boyle and him being pissy about being called out for it infuriates me. Don't even get me started on Aronofsky and his nonsense.

I agree. Unsurprisingly, it's only these creatives with an extensive body of work--they already got theirs. They don't give a shit about the careers that will never be because of this capitulation.

The still is technically flawless โ€” warm light, composition, a TARDIS doing TARDIS things. And completely inert. Nobody in that frame wants anything. "Pretty good" is the most damning review possible, and I don't think he heard himself give it.

I continuously fail to understand why people use this insestuous tech. What about any of processes AI trys to mock feel "good"? Why are too many people hell bent on removing the human elements from art?

Now, thatโ€™s an absurd situation for a "DW" episode. He arrives on a planet where all art is created by machines, and people are forbidden from making it because they are flawed. ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ
