Reminder: When the concept art for The Fifth Element dates back to 1992, it means it's from the first attempt, when the film was called Zaltman Bléros. ☝️

Fun fact: the original script was titled Zaltman Bléros (the og name of Korben Dallas). He worked in a spaceship factory. A wink was *almost* included in the movie: A "Zaltman G. Bleros" Multi Pass. ▶️ It's the legendary creature design supervisor Nick Dudman! (Batman, Harry Potter, Alien 3, SW)

Its giving me shades of the alien ships from Battle: Los Angeles. and consequently, picturing sputtering thruster jets coming out of every one of those parts.

Luc Besson's finest hour... Apart from his other cool movies. We named our daughter Lilou, a name that became popular after this movie although spelt differently from in the film.
