The US needs to get rid of the policy* that a sitting president is immune from indictment or prosecution for crimes committed while in office. * Policy apparently has a higher priority than the Constitution; ask any cop who wants your ID. Change that, too.

The excuse that a president must not be distracted from running the country has just been falsified: A president who commits crimes while in office must immediately be distracted from ruining the country. Crimes committed by the country's leaders cannot benefit the country. They are crimes.
