Great news coupled with their decision to just delete people's access to movies they bought. Guess we can look forward to Sony doing nothing but digital rentals in the future.

lol people though don’t cared about them or physical media back in the ps4 days.

i will buy some good PS5/PS4 hits that i know i want to replay from time to time and PS5 PRO will probably be my last console :)

Given the problems in the US I doubt this will receive the attention it needs.I hope Europe leads on this one. Consumers should be provided a method to back up their purchases for the purposes of reuse on original equipment. If licensing expires it must be clearly disclosed at time of purchase.

Really been enjoying renting games from my library, it’s helped me avoid wasting $ on 4-5 games I didn’t like. I have a PS5, but this and $1000+ cost means no PS6 for me ever
