I stopped wearing my Tom Petty shirt in public, one I got from a concert at the Hollywood Bowl, bc it became an exercise in subjecting myself to pop quizzes by men (once at the post office) about albums/band members. They get to just enjoy music, but I have to become an encyclopedia of minutiae.

I am a huge Bad Religion fan. In HS/early adulthood I got my then boyfriend into them, and he scooped up lore so fast in his enthusiasm he immediately began to gatekeep ME. On the band I introduced him to. What kind of illness is this?
