Scottish journalistic stock imagery can be so predictably lazy. Property prices? Looking up the hill at Comely Bank tenements. Child poverty? Two kids who are now in their forties walking past a boarded up council house that was demolished in the nineties.

They don’t have staff photographers any more. It’s all PA or archive. Soon it will be journalists, if it isn’t already. Folk don’t pay for newspapers or to bypass paywalls.. this is what we get.
