Dems will have to get over the idea that they can run anybody BUT a "win the war and pick up the pieces" type candidate. Whoever shows up with the most comprehensive, unflinching plan to close ranks back with workers, restore the US Constitution, and throw the fascists into jail will be the nominee.

Any instrument less blunt than that will be read the same way the base is reading Schumer and Jeffries, as just another dopey bureaucrat who doesn't really even appear to know what fighting at the pitch required here would look like. And that'll be absolute poison. Hunger will be everything.
