Yes, most likely The whole reason this thing is being tested is so that they can edit each chapter individually instead of editing the whole game at once and potentially screwing up stuff in earlier chapters therefore not having to test the game as much. This whole change is for backend purposes

CH1 Slot 3 was empty until now when I started a new playthrough.

Does the file named 'filech1_5' exist in your Deltarune save directory? If so, then nothing's broken, because that's the completion file for slot 3. Deleting a save file does not delete its corresponding completion file, so you probably completed chapter 1 in slot 3 then deleted the save.

Additionally, deleted completed files will appear as a blank star. They must be completed again to be filled. Copying and pasting is a little weird, but I think it's set up so that the file needs to be recompleted in that slot to count.

There was a bug if you interact with shop's ringbell or "meat candy" stand it would work as putting Egg into the basket. Because of that you could miss the dialogue about putting Egg in the basket (and Susie reaction to it). This is what Toby meant by that.

I'm pretty sure these tests are currently only on computers; consoles emulate the game, so the base PC version needs fixed before bothering to emulate it.

Question: When completion data in a slot exists, but you delete the file, it shows a blank star, assumedly because there's completion data, but no completed save, yet starting a new save there also keeps the blank star, even though the two seemingly have no relation - Is that intentional or not?
