Since #ItTakesTwo and #SplitFiction are super similar in quality, it's really hard to choose which is better. Instead, I've compiled a list of pros and cons the latter has compared to its predecessor. (1/?)

+ Bonus levels that are surprisingly fleshed out and offer neat surprises every time. - General lack of rest areas, minigames, or funny interactables in the environment. + Higher focus on action and gameplay as a result of the last point. + A really memorable finale.

If you enjoyed It Takes Two, there's about a 99% chance you will enjoy Split Fiction. These differences are all pretty small, and I still can't decide which I like more. Please consider giving the game a try.

+ A graphical facelift over the original with detailed character animation and stunning environmental design. - The game's main theme leads to less variety between areas. + The story is much stronger from a structural perspective.

- I prefer Cody and May's dynamic to Zoe and Mia's. - At times the dialogue feels stilted, pretentious, or cliche. Not enough to really sour my experience, but it earned a few eyerolls. + No magic talking book, or any equivalent. + Rail grinding is mostly replaced with wall running.

Inflation is the number one issue on people’s minds. It was the biggest issue during the election. And already Donald Trump is breaking his promise to do something about it.

Today is going to feel helpless and oppressive. Everything you do and say matters. Your voice is important. You matter. Don't let this defeat you.

You are up to date.
