Did he mean San Diego? I think he meant San Francisco. San Diego is a large Republican stronghold. But then so is Orange County, right in between LA and San Diego Counties. SO he’s proposing to sacrifice two of his largest follower bases in California?

Certainly SD, he doesn’t care about the actual data behind the electoral college map. Nor do his voters who have been conditioned to hate anything associated with CA and never think about their fellow travelers there - and cheered on SD and LA. The tech oligarchs he’s BFF with are all in SF.
