Trying to quit games for movies but some days all I can do is sit around and think about games.

Movies are just very, very rigidly structured LARPs does that help? sorry

The problem is designing games doesn't get me closer to someone giving me a million dollars to put on one of those larps

What if you designed a game where the whole scenario - down to what people say - is scripted in advance. The only thing that changes is which players play the characters and monsters. Like, one player might be Anne Hathaway but it could maybe be Rebecca Ferguson instead. sorry still not helping
