Honestly, I just think this is a nasty, vicious little article. And a pretty stupid thing to do about a decent sized group of people who are likely Onion readers. I’m not sure, “American men are inbred horrific ugly freaks descended from dogs” would be considered a witty joke. This isn’t okay.

I agree, also if it is satire which I assume the author would claim, what issue is it seeking to highlight? I don’t really get it… it is nasty but also just a bit shit.

Yeah, genuinely I have no issue whatsoever with exposing the hypocrisies or failings of another country or people. But this just feels like a weirdly vindictive personal attack against a whole people for … no particular reason? I don’t get why it’s funny.
