Very rough around the edges beginnings of an adventure game I’ve been piecing together in my spare time #gamedev

The environment looks very smooth around the edges to me! Looks like a world I'd love to explore 😀

Thank you! I can handle the environment, it’s the making it playable that’s a bit tenuous at the moment lol but that’s being worked on

You'll get it no problem 😎 Breaking systems down into the smallest pieces possible and tackling those individually helps a lot I think, and keeps things from getting overwhelming. All the best with it, I look forward to seeing this develop 😊

As someone with zero programming skill, making this is somewhat of an achievement for me. My big achievement so far has been adding a JSON powered “Journal” for collectible items.

It looks very cool!

Even as a programmer it can be a pain in the ass believe me, so good job :)

🥲 thank you, I have huge respect for the programming discipline especially after putting this little feature together

Haven’t got too much to tell at the moment, I’m theming it around Irish mythology and hoping to give it some Zeldalike elements for a hopefully fun restoration adventure game.
