The Democrat here, Blake Gendebien, is facing off against Sticker Mule CEO Anthony Constantino. Constantino is literally running on "detransitioning America" and generally just hating trans people. Gendebien could've called Constantino out for being insane. Instead, he chose bigotry. Shame.

Talarico never called trans girls ‘boys,’ nor did he say he supported a trans sports ban. He said he only supported one *IF* neeeded for safety/fairness. Importantly, never said whether that condition was met. He also hasn’t run an ad on the issue.

Well as a Texan trans kid: pretending what talarico had said about trans kids isn’t that bad is corny and, respectfully, anybody who supports that framing isn’t gonna read a trans journalist’s words no matter what they say ❤️

No, I understand. But there is a distinction with what he said and the ads someone like Marcy Kaptur is running that IS worth emphasizing here. Against a murderer like Ken Paxton, that distinction matters, at least to me. My greatest fear is that he'll be rewarded for the shit he's pulled.
