Leaving my screening of “Space Seed” and “Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan.” I cried.

Just got back from Amok Time and The Search for Spock. A better pairing than I expected. A lot of fun that they paired an episode with a movie.

@tyranicus.net and I were trying to figure out episodes that would pair with movies if they were to do them. Family/Generations Best of Both Worlds/First Contact Who Watches the Watchers?/Insurrection Face of the Enemy/Nemesis We also said maybe: Who Mourns for Adonais?/TFF Errand of Mercy/TUC

As ridiculous as it would be, and it would never happen, but I think The Way to Eden is the most natural pairing for The Final Frontier. A zealot madman commandeers the ship on a quest for Eden.

Pretty brilliant. If you couldn’t do a two-parter, could just substitute in “Q Who.” Also, maybe “The Wounded” or “Thine Own Self” for Insurrection, but “Who Watches” is first choice. TUC could also be “A Private Little War” or “Friday’s Child,” but can’t beat “Errand of Mercy.” Fun!

“Will You Take My Hand” from Discovery and TUC would be my vote.
