@happyview.dev backfill experiment, partial success. youandme.at connection backfill was snappy, but HappyView reports no progress on Bluesky follows. @trezy.codes any suggestions? No errors or warnings in the logs.

I'm pretty sure I'm not resource constrained anywhere. I tried creating a second follow backfill, but that one just reports a progress of 0/0.

Did you check the server logs? Or just the event logs?

Both. In the server logs, I can see the message indicating backfill start, as well as the backfill status requests and a warning from happyview::admin::backfill about a tombstoned did:plc. That last bit seems to suggest that the backfill is running, though that's the only evidence of such.

I'm using very little of my network bandwidth, suggesting that the problem isn't just the status.

Hmm… v peculiar. I’ll try to run my own backfill on that collection and see what I find. What version are you in? You can check easily on the About page (bottom sidebar, above logout).

Looks like it's 0.1.0. I just pulled the latest main branch from Github last night and ran it with the docker compose config.

Are you using SQLite or Postgres?
