HappyView spaces are technically off-protocol! Your space data /should/ live in your repo host (I.e. your PDS), but HV spaces were built before any PDS supported them. The goal has always been to enable spaces until they’re available on protocol, then find a way to migrate.

To be clear, I don’t recommend anybody turning it on just yet. Most PDSes still don’t support spaces, and the spec is still subject to change. I’ll keep updating the HV implementation to keep up, and once spaces hit GA the feature will be enabled by default. 😎
