I want to live in a world (and country) where governments put LIFE ahead of profits. Where the needs of humans and the environment are considered to be the highest of importance. Where people have healthcare, education, and bodily autonomy. Where people are custodians of nature, not destroying it.

I want a world where human creativity is celebrated ahead of AI. Where children are trusted to learn and grow independently. Where people can chose for themselves what they need for their own bodies, and all of this is supported and even encouraged. I want pro-human and earth policies.

We could have all this if we stopped caring about shareholders. We could have fucking clean water, food, and housing for all. We could care about the environment. We could care for each other and ensure our basic human needs are met. We could thrive, but instead only the richest thrive.

Is it too much to ask for our leaders to lead? Apparently.

Instead we have … this … /waves hands around in the air, infuriatedly. Argh! 😖 It’s so frustrating. None of it has to be this way. And yet… 🤦‍♂️

I don't know how we fix it without overhauling everything.
