Thinking about how I accidentally made both MC's of my Cruel Gods series neurodivergent without realising because I'm probably also neurodivergent without realising lol Lyle from The Chosen One Con is likely also part of this club 🙈

Evil writing advice for new writers: fit as many characters as you can into your story, each with their own POV. You don't need new chapters or scenes for a POV break, you can easily head hop between them! Make sure they have similar names like Brad, Chad, Burt, Kurt so that readers don't get lost.

Thinking of who are the scariest gods in The Cruel Gods world, and it's: -The Nameless One, god of the Necro, who eats faces. -Valeria, god of the Vesper, who tortures her mortals. -Mesmorpheus, god of the Mesmer, who is responsible for nightmares and yet they're actually a big softie lol

Two underrated gods that are actually scary: Anima, god of the Amnae, because they can manipulate and wipe your memories, creating false ones. Serenity, god of the Seren, because they demand art as tribute which sounds nice, but they punish you if your art sucks.

The only instance of spooky in ALL my books, and this is Jinx's POV in The End of Time, so slight spoilers as she meets with the god of the Necro, The Nameless One! Pretty much all the scary/spooky shit in this series comes from the Necro thanks to this fucker 🙈 #WIPSnips

I've been reading through my Cruel Gods books again, partly because of @owwrpod.bsky.social doing their read through and me remembering the story and details lol but it's making it VERY hard to switch back to The Chosen One Con and work on the sequel. I wanna do Cruel Gods 4 instead 😂

Doing a reading again also helped me spot some typos in The End of Time I want to fix as well lol

Oh man, there have been SO many games that have got me in the feels. Clair Obscur, Death Stranding, To The Moon, FF7 and X, Mass Effect etc... I think the strongest has to be Death Stranding, both 1 and 2. I cried so much over BB 😭

When I say agony, I mean this has been some of the worst pain I have ever experienced in my life lol wtf is going on down there.

I feel bad for not being able to DO things besides write down a few ideas. I need to outline, read books, review books, set up blog posts etc.

I managed to spill the cat's water bowl all over the floor and then immediately followed that up by spilling their biscuits everywhere. The universe is out to get me.

Distracting myself from the pain with video games, but will call the docs on Monday cos none of this feels normal. I don't think it's serious enough to go to the hospital, and last time I did, I was there 13 hours, so uh, I may as well just wait 🙈
