One thing that I've been ruminating on lately is there is an interesting difference between talent and intelligence. I think AI is actually closer to AT. One gains immediate talent through LLM, but no real intelligence.

It's absolutely a radical act to create "bad" art. It's beautiful to "suck at drawing". It's fantastic to "not be great at guitar". It's wonderful to "just be starting out". Phenomenal to be "non-technical".

The idea that we can and should be great at all things is a poisonous belief; an attempt at deitycraft. We should not be and we should be more comfortable with that discomfort. A future where everyone is everything is a horrific dissociative hell.

Feels like a proxied religious war. Silicon Valley gestating their own egregore with AI fundamentalism, which in turn helps "the right" and "the left" (meaningless terms at this point) workshop/worship their own hyperindivdualized gods; vessels for hopes and fears. Deitycraft—as old as the species.
