As a research project, I built a needed tool with Claude Code. I though it would be a disaster, but It wasn't. I have some complicated feelings about it.

Cool. I used to run a course platform called doki.io and it had both Teachable migrations and a Discourse migration (ruby/rails based). Thanks for sharing your story.

I agree that it's a fundamentally different type of work. And for me, it was distasteful as I am a builder by nature. All change is experienced as loss, but hoo boy was this a whopper.

If it's any consolation, I think this is going to become a foundational piece of writing about the movement in general. I plan on sharing it widely and it's really helping me refine some things I've been drafting. Appreciate your dedication to sense-making.
