You could and should have stopped with the first paragraph, Mayor. There's 364 other days of the year when you could have condemned Israel's response to this atrocity. But this is like commemorating the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks by lecturing us about our invasion of Iraq.

This is what I spend every 9/11 doing because what we did in Afghanistan and Iraq is an atrocity so many orders of magnitude worse than 9/11. Also 9/11 was perpetrated in response to unchecked imperialism that has only gotten worse since, showing that America learned nothing and needs the lecture.

Iraq, yes, but why was going into Afghanistan wrong? 9/11 was planned there by al-Qaeda and bin Laden. Are we now also sympathetic to the Taliban?

Was spending billions going into Afghanistan, killing innocents and American soldiers, to end the taliban... But only succeeding in creating a stronger better weaponised Taliban wrong . 🤔. YES.
