MAGA will never admit that it was one of their own. The group the shooter was a part of was further right than MAGA if that is even possible. They have a level of hate, violence, obsession with hurting people, obsession this trans people, not to mention these nutcases are very uneducated.

Actually, it was a fucked up young man confused by way to many angry inputs, struggling to integrate his own psyche. Pigeonholing him as Antifa or Groyper is forcing him into a narrative that is theirs or ours. He is still struggling to find his own.
