Nah... It's IoT and edge!!1! Thus a simple esp32... 😅

I love torturing vendor sales people.

God the tech world has become so embarrassing at this point

I was actually looking at getting a few more of those, and probably will at some point after I have a new desktop and turn the old iMac into several virtual machines. Just now have to look at the lowest fuss hypervisor for bare metal.

I had to really hunt down a suitable platform for my tech and it took weeks to find a vendor. Raspberry Pi killed it ☠️. Orange Pi killed it ☠️. Banana Pi killed it ☠️. Many mini IoT dev boxes smoked 💨. Found one with about a 6 week turn around to make and ship… sigh… 😔

me running an garage s3 object storage cluster on a couple raspberry pis

computer vision? :O i wanna join that tribe. But yeah, it is basically just math you trained in some way. Not directly related what type of "camera"

I use pear

once had this with an 'AI-powered' product that was just GPT-3.5 with a markup layer. $60k/year.

I just wish RPis were cheap again. I miss those days.

My 2013 NUC has powered my home server for years. It makes me question why I do that backup thing at all 😅

Stop calling bullshit on lousy vendors! They are really shy and are very proud of their fingerpaints.

Dogbert.

The rocket is on a collision course with Earth… HAVE FUN!

LOL

yeah, it’s usually a Pi wearing a glossy wrapper

"Does your storage bucket allow public access?" "Fuck"
