Post

This brings me back to the days of the old internet and what rocked about it. I love that you did this so much!

So many amazing talented people!

Thank you verti for making this! It was so fun to draw Gris. Kinda went with the flow and the restrictions definitely made me feel more creative. So many cute drawings by so many people! I love it!

YOU ARE SO GOOD AT CODING??

I was actually surprised how fast you can get to a point where you can draw on a canvas lol Like, there's a 9 minute tutorial on youtube! The harder part for me was the undo/redo history and actually getting the files to my storage and onto my server

Funny bear.

This is genuinely so cool and I'd love to know how you did this 🤩

Thank you! I made it in NextJS/React, starting with this tutorial: youtu.be/FLESHMJ-bI0?... and then added some of my own functionality. The images are stored in an R2 bucket on Cloudflare and the approval and content management is done via a wordpress custom post type.

I'd absolutely LOVE a tutorial on how to set something like this up on my own site similar to yours!! I have a rudimentary setup right now (unpublished) based on a project that was since abandoned, but this looks so much more well put together
