Food nerdery: I recently set up a home dry aging fridge and just finished my first 45 day dry age! It’s been a fun little project to set up a raspberry pi to monitor it and keep on top of temperature and humidity.

The most elaborate personal database I‘ve ever seen (in a blog) was a complex data model of coffees, their preparations and tasting logs, to triangulate the perfect combination of coffee source and preparation. Something to be said for things like that.
